It began at a music event in Ireland which he almost didn’t attend. We locked eyes with each other, and something magical happened. The old saying of “love at first sight” is not just a myth after all. We felt a deep connection that we both wanted to explore. Realising we lived in different countries, we were not sure how this would end, however we were determined not to make this a chance encounter. The flights back and forth between England and Ireland, or work scheduling conflicts did not deter our love. In fact, it brought us even closer. We couldn’t bear to be apart from each other. Each time we had to say goodbye, made us realise that we never wanted to be apart. When we first said “I love you” , we knew that Romeo had found his Juliet. By God’s grace we have been able to grow our love. Romeo proposed in December and here we are now getting married. When you find the one, you just know. Love is a beautiful thing.
